Buying a car, the environmentally friendly way

At Chase Car Consultancy we realise that cars have a large impact on the environment. We are car company committed to minimize this impact. See below for some of the ways that we do this.

Carbon Emissions New vs Used

We all know that cars emit Carbon Dioxide and other gases during their working life. However did you know that up to 20% of a cars energy and pollution output are produced during manufacturing, alongside over half of ‘toxic’ emissions*? (Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh 1998 –to go right at the bottom of the page) To minimize this we often recommend well maintained, efficient older vehicles over new cars. Whilst many new cars emit less harmful gases, prolonging a cars life and maintaining it well can often reduce your long term motoring environmental impact.

Company Carbon emissions

As a company we limit our environmental impact through recycling, reducing our energy usage and efficient administration practices. Where possible our cars are collected by using public transport rather than transporters. All filters, oil and other garage waste is disposed of using environmentally safe practices.
